I'll be honest. I almost missed my Tuesday morning note to you. I've been so tucked into the analog joy of this past week that I completely lost track of the digital stuff. 🌿
Between our first-ever Audiobook Walk this past Saturday (generously sponsored by our friends at Libro.fm), and hand-curating and preparing the new surprise bundles for this weekend, I've been practicing exactly what I preach: putting the phone in the other room and touching something real! ✨
Here's what's happening in our world:
1. The Anti-Doomscroll Rescue
Let's make like Nirvana in 1993 and get Unplugged. I'm heading to the Princeton Courtyard Markets at the Princeton Shopping Center this Saturday, June 20, and I'm bringing a bunch of boredom busters that have nothing to do with a screen.
I've added an amazing assortment of puzzles (mini, 500-piece, and 1000-piece) and premium coloring sets. They're all designed for those quiet beach mornings or rainy afternoons when you just need to find some joy without the data usage.
2. The Summer Reading Rescue
Is the school summer reading list already feeling like a heavy to-do? I know that even when the list is already made, the mental load of hunting down the right copies can be a chore. Let me handle the logistics for you.
Email your school list to hello@mainstreetchapters.com and we will act as your sourcing concierge. We'll find the books, handle the ordering, and have them ready for an easy pick-up or local drop-off. We will even tuck in a few hand-selected bookish treats to transform the required assignment into a summer adventure. 🍬
3. Gifting SOS
June is the month of next chapters. If you are looking for a thoughtful way to thank an educator or celebrate a graduate, a hand-wrapped surprise book bundle is a gift that says, "I see you, and I want you to have an hour of peace." You choose the vibe and we'll find the story that sticks. 🎁
