After a twenty-year career as a corporate executive in healthcare, I realized my spirit was begging for a hard reset. My life was measured in deadlines and constant noise, and I felt a deep pull to return to the version of myself from before life got heavy. For me, that meant returning to what has always grounded me: physical books and real neighborhood connection.

Bookselling is woven into who I am. From working my very first high school job at Bentley Books in Flemington, to working a bookstore counter in college, to a decade spent as a corporate librarian — stories have always been my safe haven. The corporate world took me far from that, but it never really let go.

Main Street Chapters is my way of building a traveling Main Street for our Central Jersey community. We don't have a permanent brick-and-mortar address, and that's our superpower. Main Street isn't just a place on a map — it's the feeling of kindness, presence, and shared discovery.
