Grateful, a little overwhelmed, and so excited for July!

Hi ✨

I'm still buzzing.

This past Saturday in Princeton was one of those days I'll be thinking about for a while. The conversations, the books finding new homes, the people, and now, 30 new friends joining this little corner of the internet. If you're one of them: welcome. I'm so glad you're here.

I'll be honest with you. There's a quiet pressure that comes with a growing list. A little voice that says hey, don't mess this up, make it worth their while. I'm sitting with that in the best way. It just means I care, and I do. ✨

Here's what's on my mind . . .

The Snail Mail Social - coming in July

Something I mentioned in the last newsletter is officially taking shape: the Snail Mail Social.

Here's how it works. We'll host a small, intentional gathering here at our home studio capped at just 10 people, where we slow down and write cards to seniors who could use a little lift. The folks at Love for Our Elders will provide the bios, so your words land somewhere real, to someone specific, who will feel them.

Each participant gets 3 beautiful cards from our friends at Just Follow Your Art, forever postage stamps, and coffee, tea, and snacks to keep us well-fueled.

Cost: $25 per person, which covers your cards, stamps, and all the snacks. Every cent goes straight to making the event happen.

This one is close to my heart. If it sounds like yours, too, keep an eye out for the date and exact details. Spots will go fast.

Beyond the Bundles

A gentle reminder that there's another way to support Main Street Chapters: shop through our online Bookshop.

When you buy books through our Bookshop page, a portion goes directly to us, an indie bookstore trying to do something a little different. It's a small act with a real impact, and we're so grateful every time someone chooses to shop this way.

Unlike what my sister is reading (🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️), I'm a few chapters into Lauren Okie's Tropesick, a slow-burn romance that doesn't shy away from the heavy stuff: grief, trauma, addiction, and recovery. I'll be honest, the FMC took a little warming up to, but I'm so glad I kept going.
