Dear Reader ✨

Last Saturday at Princeton, something kept happening over and over again.

A Scottish gentleman who hadn’t read a book in years stopped dead in his tracks because a clue card spoke directly to him. He walked away with his next favorite book. 📖

A middle school English teacher drove a long way, left with three books and a stack of stickers — one title already being considered for her classroom. 🍎

A young adult on a mission to find the perfect gift for a dear friend. Mission accomplished. 🎁

A young bookworm who read every single clue card of every chapter book until she found the one. 🌟

And an avid reader who picked up a bundle, read the clue, and shrieked — because there's an 11 month wait for it at her local library! 📚✨

This is what surprise book bundles are for. Not just the books — the moments.

We can’t wait to make more of them. And this Saturday, we’re going to have a lot of chances to do exactly that.

🌽 Flemington Corn, Tomato + Beer Fest — This Saturday, August 8

Archive note: these event dates have passed.

This is the big one.

Flemington’s most iconic summer tradition is back — and this year they’re expecting 12,000 visitors and 140 vendors lining Main Street, plus live music, food trucks, craft beer, wine tasting, kids activities, and downtown shopping. It is a full day of everything good about summer in New Jersey.

And we’ll be right there in the middle of it with hand-picked books, beautifully wrapped bundles, and a table that has a way of slowing people down.

Getting there is easy: Free shuttles run continuously from three parking lots — Hunterdon Central High School, Hunterdon Courthouse, and Reading-Fleming Intermediate School. And new this year: a festival hopper train running from Unity Bank in Flemington. 🚂

We’ll be there. ☔️ If the weather doesn’t fully cooperate on Saturday, the rain date is Saturday, August 22.

And no matter what — we’ll be at our beloved Hopewell Farmers Market on Sunday, August 23. 🌿 Come find us there if you can’t make Flemington, or make it a full book-lover’s weekend and do both!
