You know that moment on a roller coaster when the car clicks into the lift hill and you feel the slow, inevitable pull upward — and you think, oh, this is really happening?

That's where we are.

This weekend, we did our first ever back-to-back pop-ups. Fairgrown Farm on Saturday. Hopewell Farmers Market on Sunday. Two days, a whole lot of kraft-wrapped books, and conversations that stretched way longer than a typical transaction.

I wrote about it this morning on the blog — and honestly, it came out more like a love letter than a recap. A few things I can't stop thinking about: a third grader decoding a clue card like it was the most important mystery of his life. A midnight poet who writes when the spirits come. Musicians making something that shouldn't work on paper but absolutely does in your chest.

And this, which I keep coming back to:

A book is a slow object in a fast world. And so, it turns out, is a person.
